Welcome to the Shawnee Elementary PTO! We are a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and staff working together to support and enrich the educational experience of our students. Our mission is to foster a sense of community, provide enriching and educational activities, and raise funds to support the school’s needs. With your help, we can make a difference for our children.
What we do
We organize various events and activities throughout the year to engage students, parents, and the community. From fun-filled festivals to educational workshops, we strive to create memorable experiences for everyone involved. Join us in our efforts to make Shawnee Elementary School an even better place for our children to learn and grow.

Our next PTO meeting will be held on February 4! Parents are welcome to join us in person at Shawnee in the Media Center, where childcare will be provided, or by phone if attending virtually works better for your schedule. We’d love to have you join the conversation—however you’re able!

Join us on Thursday, February 5th, for a delicious way to give back! Order from Texas Roadhouse, and a portion of your purchase will support our PTO. Come and have some fun with the whole family at The Rink on Monday, 02/09! Skating and bounce houses will be open, so kids of all ages are welcome. Grab your skates, bring your friends, and enjoy an evening of fun and community.

Looking for something fun to do over February vacation? Join us at Chuck E. Cheese on Tuesday, February 17th, for a day of food, games, and fun—while supporting our school! Just mention Shawnee Elementary at the door, and when you purchase food and drinks, a portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the Shawnee PTO. Bring the kids, meet up with friends, and help support our school!
